The anime adaptation of Say "I Love You" was produced by ZEXCS and directed by Takuya Satō. It began broadcasting in Japan on October 6, 2012, on Tokyo MX, tvk, BS11 and AT-X. It ceased broadcasting on December 30, 2012. A total of 13 episodes were aired before the anime concluded. The series has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks in North America and was simulcast on Crunchyroll.
In addition to the regular series, the anime also comprises one OVA and bonus episodes that are included on BD/DVD volumes of the series. The episodes are tentatively titled "Mei and Meowrsmellow", with a few including content specific titles.
